We just went to a wedding….. in
Kauai, Hawaii.
… which was great and wonderful but…, it was just the beginning
of our Wild Adventures!!!
Jennifer was “THE QUEEN OF
THE ATV JOCKS”
with beautiful youthful Trailblazers
with
a Great Support Team!
And
we were OFF AND RUNNING!!!
The
fiery pace ever quickening…
Racing through the
jungle…,
Up the mountain through
the vine covered trails…
…
in search of the GREAT KONG!!
No longer able to travel by machine…, we trudged onward by foot.
With creeks too deep to forge, long vines carried us from tree to tree…
Deeper into the jungle…
And then we saw…, the Great Kong towering 3 stories above us all!
Who would be the first to slide…, and to where? Our final resting place???
Jennifer, protectingly, “No, Steve, I will go first.”
Later, at the bar, she told us of her
harrowing experience…,
we listened intensely…,
as
she explained how her next quest must be higher, faster, and
that
she must be STRONGER! THAT SHE MUST SOAR
LIKE AN EAGLE!
ABOVE THE ROMPING WHALES,
ABOVE THOSE WHO PLAY WITH
SMALL BALLS…
AND SAIL OFF INTO THE SUNSET
OF THAT DISTANT PARADISE!
Now we recognize one may not be inclined to believe all of this but I
can
personally attest…, she had no fear!
From Kauai’s Hanapepe, which is what you do when you run out of gas or
imagination on any of these adventures…, ALOHA!!!
And, where did we stay?
Moloa’a Bay, in a… Hideaway
Even
had time to break bread with the friendly indigenous…
We have
arrived back home sick as dogs AND with big smiles. We are vertical again with
the aid of
doctor prescribed medications but looking forward to moving on to new worlds!
